How much is too much watering for indoor rose plants, and if some of the leaves at the base turn yellow, what is the cause? Thanks.

It is likely overwatering causing the yellow leaves. Water the plant only when the very top of the soil feels dry to the touch and also make sure the plant has excellent drainage.
