Q.How Much Bone Meal Should Be Used When Starting A Container Blueberry Plant
I recently purchased a blueberry plant (Pink Icing)and am going to do a container garden and would like to know how much bone meal should I incorporate into the potting soil?

Blueberries require a very acidic soil so make sure the potting soil has been incorporated with sphagnum peat moss. Bone meal won't supply all the nutrients a blueberry needs, so you will need to supply nitrogen and potassium as well. Follow the directions on the packages for the amount to use in containers. The articles below should help. Instead, you can apply a fertilizer for acid loving plants each spring.
