Zone 06897 | Anonymous added on January 17, 2023 | Answered

I’m working n creating a Pollinator Meadow but am first trying to eradicate 3/4 acre of Mugwort. I have just put down 6mil black plastic sheeting over the entire site- for how long do you recommend I leave it down for to be sure the Mugwort is dead?

It works fastest during the hottest part of the year and takes loner when the weather is cooler. So it can take anywhere from six weeks to a few months.

In your case, check it in two months and every couple of weeks thereafter.
