Q.How Long To Roots Last

Recently dug up a baptisia and the roots seem never ending. How can I be sure this plant doesn’t come up again?

Digging up what you can is a wonderful start. This one's pretty stubborn, so you may want to try solarizing the area. This is my go-to. This can be done by placing clear plastic over the spot that you want killed off. Leave it on until everything in the area is dead. This article will go into more detail:
