How Long Does Vinegar Contaminate the Soil

I have used vinegar to kill the grass and weeds in my front yard. How long should I wait to have it replaced with floratam sod? Does the vinegar contaminate the soil, and will it kill my floratam sod that I have put in?

Vinegar works its way out of the soil quickly. The soil should be fine in a week and if you want to make doubly certain, wait till after a rain or water the soil some to help leech any remaining vinegar away.
