Q.How long does it take for new flower shoots to start on an orchid?
My orriginal fllowers died off on my Phalaenopsis Orchid and I cut it back and did what I was told to do for it to rebloom.

Nutrients and water are stored in the plant's leaves until they are needed for growth and blooming. Dormancy typically lasts from 6 to 9 months and your orchid may rebloom on its own.
