How Long Does a Watermelon Vine Live For?

I know it takes about 120 days to grow watermelon, but does the vine continue to produce fruit after the first harvest, or do I need to plant more seeds.

You should have more than one watermelon on each vine, and much like cucumbers, these will continue to produce fruit. For instance, after one watermelon is harvested, another should begin to grow. By the time it’s ready, there should be another one (or two) ready for harvest. If, however, you’ve picked all you can and do not see any signs of further blooming or fruiting, the vine is likely done for the season.
