Q.How long do tree lily bulbs take to sprout

Zone London | Zoheb86 added on June 2, 2015 | Answered

How long do tree lily bulbs take to sprout, as I plant some over 3 weeks ago in large pot but no bulbs have sprouted on top yet. I am very worried, as I spent over £100 on the bulbs, pots and john innes 2 compost. Can someone guide me?

The rapidity of growth really depends on soil and air temperatures. With warm spring temperatures you might expect to see sprouts in 2-4 weeks, if it's colder it might take longer than that.
