Q.How Long Dies It Take For Night Blooming Jasmine To First Bloom And Provide Scent In The Evenings?

We’ve had our plants (now shrubs) since November 2023. We still have not detected any of the wondrous scent that we expected. My mother-in-law had some and they were absolutely gorgeous smelling.

Do you have the one with white flowers, cestrum nocturnum, which is not a true jasmine. It is considered highly invasive in Florida.

It is probably not easy to find, so I wonder if you have a different variety, but most of them are fragrant.

Is it planted in full to part sun? Not enough light can keep it from flowering well. It also needs well-draining soil and regular watering, till established. Here is more about other varieties:
