Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comTurf was laid on fresh soil, and has been watered early every morning and evening for almost two weeks. Grass has grown 1-2 inches and looks good. There are a few small gaps here and there where shrinkage has occurred.

As soon as you see new growth, this will be a sign that it is rooted and can be mowed. Any time that you see fit is ok now.
