Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHow high should our front yard and side yard shrubs be? I think no higher than the 6 foot fence surrounding the backyard. Our neighbor’s shrubs are 8 to 10 foot and look wild.

You may want to check with your local city ordinances regarding this matter.
Neighborhood Associations also generally have guidelines for home owners.
