Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHow hard is it to cut a piece from an existing plant and transplant somewhere else without killing the existing plant? I have a healthy existing elephant ear plant and would like to try to take part of it and see if I can take a cutting and start another plant.

You can dig up a side shoot to start a new plant.
