How Do You Trim Cassia In Mt. Pleasant, SC?

Not sure how to trim Cassia Plant. Looks to bare and gangly.

I'm not sure what type of cassia plant you have. I am guessing you have the rambling senna (formerly cassia genus) because it is popular in South Carolina. It is naturally gangly, but you can trim it back after it flowers. Pinch the ends off during the summer to encourage branching and keep it bushy.
