Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe recently moved and now have a huge patio with steps in the middle. I have kids who will be playing football on the lawn and to me this looks like a head injury waiting to happen. Any ideas on how to make these slate steps safe? Do I need to remove and start again? I dont want to extend the patio even further it’s huge as it is! (PS i am removing the path!)

Yes, I can see your concern about a kid taking a header or even a shin kick into one of those corners, ouch.
You can possible grind the corners and edges to round them off with a “tile grinder”. It still could be a hard knock, but at least not as pointy.
