How do you get rid of bugs eating my flowers?

I’ve planted many varieties of flowers in a very sunny bed, but many have succumbed to leaf hoppers or other bugs. I have sprayed with Sevin but still have many blooming plants with the blooms ate off of them. Even Marigolds!
