How Do I Treat and Cure My Dying Zoyzia Grass?

Last year my zoysia grass grew beautifully. This year, the grass along my curb is practically all gone and I have large patches of missing grass on a large section of my front lawn. I’ve tried thatching it with a rake to aerate it, but nothing is happening. Thanks
