How do I train and prune solanum crispum so that it flowers close to the branches and doesn’t become loose and lanky

Question

I’ve seen a few pictures of trained solanum where there aren’t any long, loose branches with flowers at the end but where it flowers close to the wall – and looks very neat and tidy rather than the lanky, wild plant that I have!/
