Q.How Do I Save A (very) Dehydrated Bay Laurel?
I have two bay lauren plants that I neglected (gifted in Feb). Both have been replanted in compost for a week but aren’t showing improvment. Both have been watered regularly but I’m not sure how much each needs. One is more worrying than the other (A in the pics) as it feels almost crunchy. Hoping I can save them! Thank you

I think you're doing the right things, and patience may be the key. Be sure you keep all dead leaves clipped away, and remember that if the roots sit in water, they won't be able to survive, so even though the tree is desperate for water, it doesn't want to sit with wet feet. Good soil drainage is important. Also, make sure they don't get too much intense heat as the seasons change. You may have to baby them for a while. If they don't improve soon, it might be a good idea to contact a certified arborist for help.
