How do I revive my wilted, scorched plants?

Question

I had a variety of plants outside for sun and watering and my husband lit the fire pit and the all scorched to a degree. What do I do?

Remove the dead plant material and wait and see if the plants can recover.

All but the small plant look like they should have enough live plant material to live.
