How do I kill off a pussy willow stump that we cut down? It keeps suckering. We cut down a pussy willow that we do not want to grow back. It continues to sucker. How do we kill it off?

Common for Pussy Willow.

You can trim down to the ground level and paint the cut edges with full strength herbicide. This will draw down to the roots and kill the roots.
You will likely need to do this many times. Pull out new shoots also as soon as they emerge.
Patience and time will help control the shrub.
