Q.How Do I Kill a Tree Trunk

CLAIRE added on May 2, 2011 | Answered

My friend has several unwanted trees in her garden that need taking out but are too established to pull! There is one trunk that can’t be removed but needs to rot. How do you start a destroying process?

Drill holes in the trunk stump and then pour high nitrogen fertilizer in the hole. The holes. The fertilizer will give a jump start to the bacteria that help to break down wood.
