Keep Iguanas From Eating My Flowers and Herbs

teresabornstein56 added on July 10, 2015 | Answered

How do I keep Iguanas from eating my flowers and herbs... loves the basil. We are in a Marina and do not have the option of removing sidewalks or putting up fences from preventing a large iguana from eating our flowers and herbs... especially the basil. Is there any type of plant (like marigolds) we can plant that will keep them away? Will a plastic owl keep them out?

I have not been able to find any plants that deter Iguana.
