Q.how do I grow skeleton flowers from seed?
I have been given some seeds for the skeleton flower. What are the procedures necessary to successfully incubate the seeds and at what stage do you transplant them.

They will require cold stratification to germinate. Keep them in your refrigerator until you are ready to plant, since they normally grow in colder regions.
You are in zone 9, so you may find that they die off in the summer.Just make sure to plant them in the shade since they cannot handle direct sunlight at all.
When you cast them out under other plants, or in a fully shaded location, then you will only need a light dusting of soil to cover them. Keep the soil misted, and moist but not soaking wet.
