Q.How do i get worms to burrow into food
My worm bin is pretty new. Worms are about a week old. Worms are hanging out around the edges and not getting into the food. Some are trying to escape. The bedding material is shredded paper and compost. Possibly I feed too much? Some of the food (table scraps) was already decomposing. Its warm here but I dont think too hot for the worms. Any ideas??

It can be overfeeding, they are not happy in there or the bin is not adequate.
