How deep are the roots/rootbase of a yucca plant?

Would like to plant a yucca in an area of the yard where there is limited soil depth. (We previously had a tree removed there, so we could only clear out so many roots/stump in order to plant something else less invasive than a tree. ) Hoping that a yucca doesn’t have a huge network of roots. . . .

Yuccas should be ok there. It is true that yuccas have a very deep tap root, but on the other hand, they are very resilient plants. They find a way, no matter how much or how little soil they have. They should be fine there.
