when to pick Italian zucchini

How can you tell when Italian Zuchinni is ready to pick? I grew some Italian zucchini this past year, the huge long curly type, but have no idea how to tell when they are ready to pick and eat. I think they look super but want to be able to try eating and promoting them.

Don’t let your zucchini get too big. I would say 10″
maximum.

Harvest is approx 55 days from planting.

You should harvest the zucchini when they are 4 to 6 inches in length for best flavor.

Allowing the zucchini to get to large on the vine will lower the production of other vegetables.
