How Can You Tell Whether or Not a Rose Bush Is a Male

How can you tell whether or not a rose bush is a male? I have some roses and they are in a vase so they can root together.

Roses have perfect flowers, meaning that both the male and female reproductive parts are contained in one flower. So your rooting roses are all both male and female.
