Q.How can I transplant a piece of Variegated Pink Weigela?

Zone upstate NY | Anonymous added on September 20, 2016 | Answered

We want to move a piece of the Weigela shrub to another location and keep the main portion where it is. Can a branch of the shrub be put in water to root like other plants or do we need roots with it. Is this possible?

Yes, you can grow Weigela from cuttings.
Make sure you water the plant well the day before so the branches are well hydrated.
You will not be able to root in just water.
