Q.How Can I Save My Sago Palm?
Hello, I believe I have a sago palm. It was given to me by my son who was doing some gardening for a neighbour and they had tried to kill the palm, but couldnt so he brought it home. We planted it in a spot quite close to the garden path, where it would get middmorning sunlight and all afternoon sun. I hardly watered it. It took a while to catch but grew beautifully! Then I had the bright idea of transplanting it to the front garden :(. Was the biggest mistake. First my son didnt dig the hole properly and when he planted it, I dont know what happened but the leaves just fell down like if the trunk didnt have the strength to hold them, so I tied the leaves up together and staightened the palm and watered it….every night! but the leaves went brown and dried up. Now I just have a stump that I wont let anyone touch, in hopes that the palm will sprout again. Can you help me?

Here are some sago care tips you can try. Hold back on some of the watering. It doesn't need water every day. They do not like a boggy soil. It may be too far gone, but give it some time and proper care.
