Q.How Can I Save A Frozen Potted Hibiscus?

Zone Fairhope, Alababma 36532 | Jodie O'Daniel added on January 9, 2023 | Answered

My beautiful hibiscus which was in a very large pot was outside during a 3 day freeze here in lower Alabama. I covered it, but it froze anyway. Should I cut it way back in the spring or now, and will it be ok??

I would not cut it until Spring. This will offer it a little extra protection from the cold. Depending on the type that it was, it may come back just fine. Keeping covered during the cold, or bringing it in during then will be the best options.
