Q.How can I move a cutting from my large Plumeria Palm from Phila, PA to TX in October?

I started the Plumeria from a 4″ piece. It is now 6 ‘ tall with two branches. Of course, I have to move it indoors when temps fall to 50 degrees. I won’t have to do that in Texas. Please advise. Thank you so much.
