Q.How can I keep my Hydranga from being so bushy?

I have big beautiful blooms but the foliage is so thick that the flowers are hardly visible.

You can certainly prune your shrub and it will help its shape and appearance. Also, are you fertilizing a lot? Hydrangeas need very little fertilizer.
