Q.How Can I Get My Soil Ready For A Vegetable Garden?

The soil in my yard looks like red clay. What can I do or is there anything I can do to get it ready to grow vegetables?

Yes, you have some options. You can build a raised bed and fill it with bagged soil, or you can amend the soil you already have. Be sure the grass is removed where you want to start a garden and there are no utility lines where you want to dig. These articles should help:
