How can I find the parents of a hybrid pumpkin?

I understand how a hybrid pumpkin differs from a GMO pumpkin. What I need to know is how to find out which two pumpkin varieties are the parents of a given hybrid pumpkin variety.

I’m not sure you can determine this on your own, unless the information is forthright on the seed packaging for instance.
