Q.How can I conrol twig girdler beetles?

Zone Potomac MD | johnmnelson811@verizon.net added on June 19, 2017 | Answered

I have a saw-tooth oak that appears to be infected by twig girdler beetles. Small branches and twigs have been dropping from my tree for a couple weeks now. This tree is very big and towers over my 2-story house. What can I do to help the tree and get rid of the beetles?

I would also suggest talking with your County Extension Office to see if specific treatment for this pest in your region.
