How Can I Care For A Norway Spruce Indoors?

I was recently gifted a Norway Spruce tree (small, 1-2 feet in height) and wanted to know more about how I can take care of it. I live in an apartment in New York City but I’m willing to give this little tree all the love and care it needs. Unfortunately, I do not have a garden but I was wondering if anyone had any information on caring for this species of tree indoors.

They are hardy in your area, so it may be easier to grow them in container outdoors! They like quite a bit of light, so indoors may require extra lighting.
