how big should my container be for a boston Fern

I bought a beautiful, huge Boston fern but the pot was quite small for how huge the fern is. What size container should it be re potted in?

Boston ferns usually prefer to be somewhat pot bound. However, if you feel it necessary to repot the plant, then I would go up at least two pot sizes (2 inches in diameter) from the one it is currently in.
