Q.How Badly Does A 6 Meter Pepper Tree Grow Into My Septic Tank And Rain Water Catchment Tanks

I just bought a house in Padthaway South Australia next to a football club that has about half a dozen pepper tree’s right next to my septic tank and rain water catchment tank’s plus bore water tanks am I liable for any damages that they might cause to my property or is it the football club that will have to foot the bill ?

I would be concerned. According to this fact sheet from Australia, it seeks wetlands, so its roots may seek your septic tank. It is also considered invasive in Australia.

You would have to consult your insurance company about the liability.
