How Badly Does A 6 Meter Pepper Tree Grow Into My Septic Tank And Rain Water Catchment Tanks

I just bought a house in Padthaway South Australia next to a football club that has about half a dozen pepper tree’s right next to my septic tank and rain water catchment tank’s plus bore water tanks am I liable for any damages that they might cause to my property or is it the football club that will have to foot the bill ?
