House plants repotting

I was wondering if I should repot my plants after having watered them or dry like right before I would water them?
Also what size pot compared to what? size of plant height or what?

This can depend on the plant. Some will tolerate repotting, where some want to be rootbound. Usually, you will want to go with a pot an inch taller, and and inch wider than the one you have now. This is the general rule, but can vary for some plants.

This article will give you an idea of the plants that like to remain rootbound: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/should-you-repot-your-plant-happy-root-bound-house-plants.htm [1]
