Hot Pepper Seeds

I have a batch of Carolina Reaper peppers that I have had in the fridge for about 3 weeks. The peppers are bad now. No mold or visible rot but they are mushy. Can I dry the seeds to eat or is this not a viable option?

As long as the seeds don’t have any mold on them and don’t smell bad, they should be fine to dry and eat.
