Hosta plants

Portland, Maine. They grow really huge each year. Should we cut them way back in fall?

You can but the plants back now in the Fall.
I like to trim mine to about 4 inches and dispose of the leaves.

This will neaten up the garden and they are ready to sprout up in clean garden beds in the spring.
