Q.Hosta plant

Zone Eastern Connecticut | Terri N. added on July 3, 2016 | Answered

Is there an insect or animal that might eat the roots of the Hosta plants, leaving the leaves upright in the hole? This has happened to our plants and we wonder if an animal may do this or if a person is coming into our yard taking the plants and leaving a few leaves in the ground?
