We had bad hailstorm and our hosta leaves were damaged. What can we do to replenish them? Cut them back? What is our best way to promote a beautiful hosta after this disaster?

Yes, you can prune away the damaged leaves. This will clean up the plants. Depending on how filled out the plants were, they may or may not send out more leaves. They may just look a bit scraggly this year.
