Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comOur hostas grew well this year. They were new plants for us. But now they are yellow and withering in the colder nights. The question is, do we cut the leaves down to the ground or keep the dead leaves on the plant?

I like to trim back the leaves before winter. This neatens up the plant and in the spring the Hosta are all cleaned up for the new growth.
