I need to move my hostas. They are very well established. Is it too late to dig them up?

It's not too late. Hostas have a good transplant success rate. If the plants are really big and unwieldy, you can kill two birds with one stone and divide them - they'll be easier to transport and you'll get more plants out of the deal. You can read all the ins and outs of moving hostas here:
