Hosta bulbs planting

I planted hosta bulbs the first week of April and have yet to see any signs of a new plant. I live in Atlanta,GA.

You should have seen growth from the Hosta bulbs by this time.
The roots should have been planted so that the roots are down and the ‘eye’ pointed upwards, just below the surface.
Soil should be moist but never dry or soggy.
