Q.horseradish

Anonymous added on June 20, 2015 | Answered

Have had this plant for three years and don’t know what to do with the stocks that come with flowers on them. Must I cut the flowers and stock for better growth? Haven’t removed any of the plant since it was planted. Help!

Taking the flowers off forces the plant to focus more on the roots, which is what you want to harvest, instead of flowers and then seeds. So it is helpful to prune the flowers and stalks.
