Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a 15 year old Horse Chestnut tree. This is the first year I am finding conkers sprouting “all over the property.” It is out of control. I have even found several of them burrried deep in my plant containers. Do you know why this is happening and how to control it?

You may have had some help from squirrels or other critters planting them for you. You can remove them with a sharp spade shovel or hand trowel to prevent them from continued growth.
