The perception of honeysuckle scent is rather a personal thing. Many people report that the scent of honeysuckle is most noticeable at night, without regard to variety of plant. However, because night flying pollinators are most attracted by white and yellow blooms, honeysuckle with those color flowers may be more likely to have stronger night time scent.
