honeysuckle variety

I had once seen a variety of a honeysuckle and the owner said the fragrance was noticeable only at night. Do you know what variety that would be?

The perception of honeysuckle scent is rather a personal thing. Many people report that the scent of honeysuckle is most noticeable at night, without regard to variety of plant.
