Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello…just after some advice on a honeysuckle recently bought, Rhubard & Custard variety. It is being attacked i think by aphids ?. the leaves have turned black and crispy. I have sprayed with diluted washing up liquid as i have heard this is a good thing to do, but would like to know if i should be taking further action? i have attached some photos.

I don't see signs of aphids. I do see signs of bacterial infection. This can be caused by wet soils that are not allowed to dry out between waterings. You may need fungicides. This article will help:
